Garlic & Herb Chicken Pillows

This is a great weeknight dinner option and a great way to use leftover crockpot chicken that we shared a couple weeks ago!
Ingredients
- (4 c.) Whole Chicken
- (8 oz.) Garlic & Herb Cream Cheese, softened
- (1/2 c.) 2% Milk Gallon
- (1/4 c.) Parmesan Cheese, grated
- (1/4 c.) Green Onion, chopped
- (2 pkgs.) Crescent Rolls
- (1 tbsp.) Salted Butter
- (1/4 c.) Italian Breadcrumbs
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
- Combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, milk, parmesan and green onion in a large bowl, and mix until combined.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and press the diagonal seams together to form 4 rectangles. Repeat with the second package.
- Fill each rectangle with 1/8 of the chicken mixture, then pull the edges over the top and close to make a round pillow, about the size of a hockey puck. Repeat with remaining pieces, and then place each one seam side down on a greased baking sheet.
- Brush the top of each pillow with butter then sprinkle with bread crumbs.
- Bake for 18-23 minutes or until the dough is cooked and the tops are golden brown.
